 Overview

Metal forming extrusion is the process used to fabricate parts of uniform cross sections by squeezing the metal through a high pressure outlet. The extruded metal is shaped by a die. Metals that are extruded include lead, tin, aluminum, copper, brass and steel.

When our customers specify a custom part like a heat sink, aluminum is usually preferred. Aluminum extrusions total 50% of the total extruded metals market. Aluminum is more cost effective, flexible, anticorrosive and light weight than other metals.

Other common metal extrusion applications include the following:

•     Aluminum & copper extrusions for thermo-management requirements; specifically, heat sinks and special order products like channels, and ancillary items to our box building and assembly services.

•     Copper tubing for refrigeration and plumbing

•    Stainless steel extrusion for structural products

Please inquire about your specific application requirements and we will determine if we have the right factory in Asia to offer you the best quality, price and delivery times.
